Niigata International Open No-gi Championship 2025

Applicant for Championship Participation

As the applicant, I hereby pledge to comply with all the regulations established by the ASIAN SPORT JIU-JITSU FEDERATION (hereinafter referred to as "the Organizer") and apply to participate in the matches of this championship (hereinafter referred to as "the Championship") as outlined on this page.

1. I confirm that I have fully understood and agreed to the championship outline posted on the Championship’s website (including each explanation in the "Championship Outline", rulebooks linked on the site, and other relevant notes). Based on this understanding, I apply to participate in the Championship.


2. I acknowledge that if I cancel my participation for personal reasons or am disqualified for violating any of the commitments stated here, I will not be entitled to any refund of the entry fee already paid.
   ※However, if there is no opponent after the entry deadline and cancellation is processed within the specified period, the Organizer will treat it as a cancellation and refund the entry fee.


3. I pledge to fight honorably and with full effort, abiding by the Championship rules.
   I also agree to promptly follow any instructions given by the Organizer for the operation of the Championship and acknowledge that failure to do so may result in the suspension or cancellation of my matches.


4. I understand and accept that participation in the Championship involves risks of injury or death, as well as the possibility of long-term aftereffects. I will ensure that I am in the best possible physical condition on the day of the Championship.
   I agree not to make any claims for compensation or damages against the Organizer or any related parties for any accidents, injuries, deaths, or aftereffects that occur during the Championship, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Organizer.
   
   Furthermore, in the event of an accident during the Championship, I consent to the Organizer’s designated medical staff performing first aid treatment and, based on necessity, arranging for emergency transportation to a medical facility.
   I understand and accept that neither the Organizer nor medical personnel will be held liable for these actions unless there is intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
   If I wish to receive compensation for injuries or other incidents during the Championship, I will obtain sports insurance at my own expense prior to the event.


5. Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, I understand that the Organizer is not responsible for any loss or damage of my belongings, or delays caused by public transportation or traffic conditions.
   


6. I acknowledge that all copyrights, portrait rights, and related rights pertaining to the Championship belong to the Organizer. I also agree that the Organizer holds the rights to use and manage photos, videos, recordings, my name, age, gender, and likeness captured during the Championship, including publication on the Internet and other media.
   I agree that the personal information I provide for this application may be used by the Organizer, within the necessary scope, for the operation of the Championship, including pamphlets, on-site displays, championship brackets, and the publication of official results.


7. In the event of cancellation of the Championship due to unforeseen or extraordinary circumstances such as natural disasters, severe weather, transportation disruptions, or the spread of infectious diseases, I agree that the Organizer will determine whether and how much to refund based on actual incurred costs at the time of cancellation.
   If I do not apply for a refund within six months from the start of the refund process, I agree to forfeit my right to claim the refund. I also agree to follow the Organizer’s designated procedures and methods for refunding.


8. I certify that all information provided in this application is true and accurate.
   I understand that no one other than myself may participate in the Championship on my behalf based on this application.


9. I understand that violating any of the above terms may result in disqualification from this Championship and others hosted by the Organizer.


10. Guardian’s Pledge (Required if the applicant is under 20 years old)
    As the guardian of the applicant, I acknowledge and accept the above terms and conditions and hereby apply for the applicant’s participation in the Championship.
